It's been a while since I've enjoyed my sidekick. Yesterday I got the
new over-the-air OS update, and have fallen in love with my sidekick
again. It now has ssh, a nice clock with alarms, and a calculator.
Hopefully it will inspire me to add to my blog more often!

Well, a lot has happened since my last update. I had LASIK about 2.5
months ago and had some fairly serious complications. I was out of work
for over a month. I lost my job, which wasn't the worst possible thing,
because the company management was less then ethical.
So, I got another job working with people that I worked with before and
most of them are friends. In the end I think the whole thing happened
to get me out of a bad situation into a better one. My eyes are doing a
lot better, and I love my new job!
We are going to Todai tonight for dinner, and an old friend just called
and is in town? So we will be meeting with her and her new husband
sometime in the next few days.

Today at work is really slow. I am reading some online forums and doing
some browsing on job sites.
The whole war thing has me stressed. I am a pacifist by oath, but that
doesn't mean that I push my view onto others. I feel the need for peace
very strongly right now, though.

Things are a little frustrating at work today. The food truck food was
especially gross, and my burger was raw. One of these days I will
learn. Things are extra busy for a Friday night.
I go on a new schedule starting next weekend. 3-10:30 PM. Right now I
am an hour later than that. I am moving to days in a few weeks, and I
can have a life again.

Well, my SideKick has been offline for 48 hours, and finally came back
up. I was a little annoyed and frustrated how slow the process took.
Yesterday, when I walked out to go to work, there was a beautiful
rainbow just outside my front door. I took a picture, but it doesn' show
the color very well.

We are on our way to Quartzsite, AZ, to buy some rocks. We just stopped
at a rest stop and met up with a very old friend, Kristina. It was
pretty awesome to see her. I got a huge, hug, too. Can't beat that!
